Trump Taps Wall Street Legal Vet Clayton to Lead SEC

President-elect Donald Trump will nominate Jay Clayton to head the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). A partner with law firm Sullivan & Cromwell specializing in mergers and securities offerings, Clayton has advised on many major investment banking deals, including the record-breaking IPO of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba in 2014.

John Incandela has been named president and CEO for the U.S. operations of Pango, a provider of mobile payment services for parking, transit, ride-hailing and other urban services.

Company on the Move: GlobalPlatfom, New China Task Force

GlobalPlatform, an industry body which standardizes the management of applications on secure chip technologies, has launched a China Task Force to give Chinese members and all GlobalPlatform members with business interests in China a dedicated platform to identify and agree on requirements from the region and work directly with Chinese industry and standards associations.

Stockholm-based payments provider Trustly has hired Ulrica Falkenberg as head of people operations, where she will be tasked with supporting the company’s growth and doubling the staff from 130 to 250 in the next year.

Kathleen Campbell, quality manager for card marketing and production firm Arroweye Solutions, has passed the International Card Manufacturers Associations’ (ICMA) ACE-P certification. Campbell joins Marce Rose, Arroweye’s operations manager, who recently received both the ACE-P and ACE-M certifications.
