The new CFAR offering, powered by Cover Genius’ award-winning global distribution platform XCover, will provide customers peace of mind knowing they can quickly and easily receive refunds if plans change, and they need to cancel their flight for any reason.
According to a recent analysis of the top 10 international itineraries from FlightHub, this new offering costs 40 per cent less than the next fully refundable fare elsewhere.
Accessible refundable coverage with just a few clicks
FlightHub customers can now add CFAR to their booking at checkout. This addition allows customers in Canada and the US to cancel their trip for any reason up to 48 hours before departure and receive up to 100 per cent of the booking cost back with no documentation or proof required. Additionally, if travellers are unsure about purchasing the CFAR offering when booking their tickets, they can purchase the CFAR option up to 24 hours after booking through FlightHub’s website. With XCover, FlightHub customers can submit a claim within minutes from anywhere in the world. Refunds are quickly paid out in more than 90 currencies and XCover also offers 24/7 claims submissions in over 40 languages.
