Deutsche Börse to provide IT infrastructure for German private bank
Deutsche Börse is to provide the IT infrastructure for German private bank Donner & Reuschel, and will assume administration and hosting for its data centres.
In addition to connecting to its own trading platforms, Eurex and Xetra, network connectivity will also be extended to bank end users and additional third-party providers.
“Deutsche Börse provides our capital markets area with a comprehensive financial IT solution, guaranteeing us full compliance with the heavily regulated German financial market,” says Markus Neuburger, head of equity and derivatives at Donner & Reuschel.
All services will be provided in Germany and are part of a long-term co-operation between Deutsche Börse Managed Services and Hamburg-based vendor Pdv Financial Software for provision of Pdv’s Decide software for securities trading.
Deutsche Börse provides hosting and managed services to customers via Clearstream Services, founded in Luxembourg in 1970. It is a “fully integrated Deutsche Börse entity” and employs more than 600 IT specialists. It has been offering it hosting and managed services since 2004.
Donner & Reuschel was founded in 1798 and is based in Hamburg and Munich. It specialises in banking services for private clients, entrepreneurs operating their own businesses and institutional investors.
