Banking Tech celebrates the start of a new era
Banking Technology is delighted to announce the appointment of Tanya Andreasyan as Editor and Antony Peyton as Deputy Editor.
Andreasyan brings a wealth of experience to the role having been working in the banking/financial services technology industry for ten years. She had previously worked at IBS Intelligence, a UK-based publishing house and analyst/consultancy firm focused on the banking technology market worldwide, where her roles included research, writing for and editing in-house publications, overseeing the end-to-end production process and coordinating editorial, marketing, sales and design teams.
Specialising in the technology and operations markets across a broad range of banking areas, including universal, retail and corporate banking, lending, treasury and capital markets, private banking and wealth/investment management, and trade finance, Andreasyan’s remit extends to the Islamic banking market and its specialist software providers and their solutions.
She has extensive understanding and knowledge of the banking/financial services technology industry and its participants, including vendors, financial institutions, consultants and other third parties, on global, regional and domestic levels. She is also directly involved in providing bespoke research and consultancy services, producing and delivering in-depth research and analysis of the global markets, industries, geographies and suppliers.
‘I am excited to be joining such a well-established and respectable fintech publishing brand,” said Andreasyan. “Banking Technology has created a solid foundation over the three decades of operation, and I look forward to building on that.”
Andreasyan will be joined by Antony Peyton as the new Deputy Editor. Peyton had already been working with Andreasyan for six months at IBS Intelligence and completes the exciting new Banking Tech editorial line-up.
“I am delighted to have such a strong editorial team joining this market-leading brand,” said Tim Banham, Group Publisher for Informa, the parent company of Banking Technology. “The move of the previous Editor, David Bannister, to Ovum created a new challenge for the business and left some big shoes to fill. To secure such an experienced editor will help Banking Technology continue to build on the success of the last 30 years.”
