Anna Maj joins French fintech Bridge as president and CEO
French fintech Bridge, which offers a suite of payment solutions and bank data aggregation services, has hired Anna Maj as its new president and CEO, succeeding Olivier Binet.
Maj brings over 25 years of experience in financial services to the role. This notably includes founding fintech consultancy CreatLink in 2007, through which Maj writes on LinkedIn has included leading the “open banking projects for banks and payments providers, including building cooperation models between incumbents and fintechs”.
Bridge, based in Paris, uses open banking APIs to simplify the initiation and collection of account-to-account (A2A) payments for businesses. It also offers data solutions for identity verification and credit assessments.
Maj is also a senior advisor at European venture capital firm Truffle Capital, a role she has held since 2020. Truffle Capital and Groupe BPCE, the second largest banking group in France, have backed Bridge since 2022, when the company raised €20 million in its first funding round.
In conjunction with announcing the appointment of Maj, Bridge has also confirmed the promotion of co-founder Alexis Roque to deputy CEO. Roque will take on the role in addition to his current duties as COO.
