NatWest Group expands partnership with NCR Atleos for self-service banking upgrade
NatWest Group has expanded its partnership with NCR Atleos to modernise its self-service banking channel and upgrade its network of over 5,500 ATMs and multi-function devices.
One of the largest UK banking organisations, NatWest Group serves over 19 million customers through its brands including Royal Bank of Scotland, Ulster Bank, and NatWest Bank.
The collaboration will see the banking group replace all NatWest-owned ATMs and multi-function devices with new NCR Atleos technology featuring a new 19” touchscreen user interface.
NCR Atleos says the move will enable NatWest “to deliver secure, uninterrupted access to cash and essential financial services” while also allowing for “faster deployment of new transactions and services”.
Richard Talbot, head of cash and self-service at NatWest, says the banking group is on a journey to deliver a “self-service refresh across our software and customer-facing technology”.
NCR Atleos has secured a number of partnerships for its self-service solutions this year, announcing deals with customers including Travelex, Ocean Bank, and VyStar Credit Union, among others.
The company previously operated as the ATM division of NCR Corporation until 2023, when it was spun out into a separate entity.
