Facit Bank taps Norway’s Neonomics to power invoicing and payment with open banking
Facit Bank has partnered with Norway’s Neonomics to integrate open banking solutions into its invoicing and payment functions.
Established in 2019, Facit Bank serves approximately 35,000 customers across Sweden, Norway and its home market of Denmark, offering a variety of deposit products and unsecured consumer loans to private individuals.
Through this new partnership, Facit Bank will deploy Neonomics’ open banking solution Checkout, enabling customers to make payments directly from their bank accounts.
The partnership also extends to Neonomics’ Pay Date solution, which will allow Facit Bank’s customers to schedule invoice payments in advance, thereby reducing the risk of late payments and associated fees.
This feature is expected to enhance convenience and security by enabling payments directly through the financial institution.
Commenting on the collaboration, Christer Nilsson, CEO of Facit Bank Norway, states: “By launching Neonomics highly cost-efficient payments services, through Link Mobility’s Mobile Invoice we make it even easier for our consumers to pay while creating savings on every transaction.”
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Oslo, Neonomics claims its PSD2 API platform provides unified access to over 2,500 banks and 150 million bank customers across Europe.
