FE fundinfo buys out investment research platform AdviserAsset
Financial data firm FE fundinfo has expanded its UK product suite with its acquisition of due diligence and product selection tool AdviserAsset for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 2010, the AdviserAsset platform seeks to support financial advisors, wealth managers and paraplanners with enhanced processes for fund research, analysis, and portfolio management.
Its suite of tools include fund and fee analysis, performance reporting, model portfolio management, and compliance support, enabling clients to undertake product and platform switch analysis while managing multiple holdings.
With the acquisition now complete, these tools are set to be integrated into FE fundinfo’s existing product framework as a research and selection module powered by FE Analytics, the firm’s fund research and analysis solution. It will enable its users to streamline engagement, onboarding, research, planning, investment product selection, and reporting functions, the wealthtech says.
In addition, clients also stand to benefit from AdviserAsset’s “large platform database, supporting them in assessing associated charges and benefits with switching platforms”.
Earlier this year, FE fundinfo also acquired German wealth management fintech Dericon. In 2021, it bought cashflow planner CashCalc.
