Missouri Central Credit Union taps Bankjoy for account opening and digital banking upgrade
Missouri Central Credit Union has chosen US-based banking tech vendor Bankjoy to upgrade its digital banking capabilities.
The credit union will utilise Bankjoy’s digital banking platform to boost digital engagement and improve the digital experience for customers, and will also deploy the company’s Online Account Opening solution in a push to acquire and onboard new members.
Bankjoy says its end-to-end digital platform will provide the credit union’s members with online and mobile banking including features such as integrated online loan applications and e-statements.
The vendor adds that its account opening solution will also enable Missouri Central Credit Union to offer a “90-second onboarding process” that verifies user identity through ID upload and selfie matching.
Established in 1931, Missouri Central Credit Union, a not-for-profit financial institution, claims to manage around $78 million in assets.
Speaking on the new partnership with Bankjoy, Josh Wooley, president and CEO of Missouri Central Credit Union, says: “Strong member relationships are something we take pride in and it’s what differentiates us from larger, national bank brands.” He adds that Bankjoy’s digital banking platform and online account opening tools are a “perfect fit for our needs.”
Missouri Central Credit Union adds to Bankjoy’s recent client wins among North American credit unions. This includes Texas-based InvesTex Credit Union and Oregon State Credit Union, which chose the Detroit-based firm for its online account opening solution in February.
