United Fintech reshuffles leadership in push to drive growth
Global acquisition platform United Fintech has reshuffled its management team in a bid to “adopt even more customer-centric ways of working” and spur further growth.
The move follows a string of strategic purchases by the UK-headquartered firm, namely its acquisitions of Danish trading technology provider NetDania, investment portfolio management fintech Athena, and digital asset risk and data services provider CobaltFX, among others.
The reshuffle will see Rasmus Bagger, NetDania’s CEO of two years, move to the position of CCO of United Fintech, while United Fintech sales executive George Govier-Rosenvold will assume the role of CCO for NetDania.
Elsewhere, Athena CEO Luis Otero is to transition to the role of CTO of United Fintech, while United Fintech partner Marc Levin will take the reins from Otero as Athena’s new CEO.
Darren Coote, who has served as managing director of strategic accounts for United Fintech since his appointment in December 2022, is set to take on the role of CEO of CobaltFX, where he had been serving as a managing director prior to its acquisition.
Additional appointments for United Fintech include moving Troels Lindblad from head of M&A and funding to CFO, and Elizabeth Missfeld from head of strategic transformation and execution to chief of staff.
United Fintech CEO Christian Frahm says the reshuffle “aims to repurpose talent internally”, with a view to fuelling “further growth in all directions with emphasis on adopting even more customer-centric ways of working”.
The London-based company seeks to service the digital transformation agenda of the financial services industry by consolidating a number of specialised technologies across market data, data visualisation and trading into one unified platform, and has so far acquired a total of five companies since its inception in 2020.
It gained its first institutional backers earlier this month with an undisclosed investment from BNP Paribas and Citi.
