PayComplete appoints former co-president Simon James as new CEO
UK-based cash management solutions provider PayComplete has announced the promotion of its former co-president, Simon James, who will now serve as the fintech’s new CEO.
The firm says James will be responsible for the “ongoing centralisation process of the PayComplete brand” while being expected to foster enhanced cooperation and collaboration within the company, and broaden its retail and cash-in-transit (CIT) services.
Commenting on his new role, James states that he is particularly eager to help “support our continued EMEA operations and work on the international growth, particularly in the Americas, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.”
James joined the fintech over five years ago, during which time he has held both the COO and CMO positions. Before joining PayComplete he was MD at Civica, and senior VP of strategic customer solutions and global professional services at US paytech Elavon.
Founded in 2020, PayComplete says its proprietary hardware systems, supported by its cloud-based agnostic software platform, provide products to help the banking, CIT, hospitality, financial services, mass transit, and retail sectors improve their cash management processes.
James joins a long list of recent fintech CEO appointments, including Australia-based Judo Bank’s appointment of Chris Bayliss, Sarah Kocianski becoming the new FinTech Wales boss, and credit finance tech vendor Mission Lane’s appointment of Brandon Black.
