Konstantin Zaripov resumes role as managing director of Nebeus after five-year break
Konstantin Zaripov is rejoining Nebeus as managing director after five years away from the Spanish cryptocurrency financial services platform.
Founded in 2014 and a regulated Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) since 2022, Nebeus enables retail and business customers to buy, sell, store, lend and borrow in cryptocurrency and fiat.
Zaripov initially departed the platform in October 2018, after a 15-month tenure as managing director. From there, he went on to serve the same position for payment service provider (PSP) Wirecapital for a short seven months, and then again for MultiPass, a bank challenger for small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs), up until October.
However, he is not expected to axe his presence at MultiPass entirely, and will now transition into the role of non-executive board member in tandem with his return at Nebeus.
Writing about the move via LinkedIn, Zaripov shares his excitement in rejoining Nebeus as it seeks to “enable talent, regardless of their location, to get paid and make the management of money secure, simple and affordable”.
With offices in Madrid, Barcelona and London, Nebeus previously raised €1 million in crowdfunding from 240 investors in 2020 and is backed by the British Business Bank’s Future Fund.
