MDT appoints Dan Schneider as CPO and Greg Lanigan as CIO in C-suite shake-up
Member Driven Technologies (MDT) has named Dan Schneider as its first chief project officer (CPO) and Greg Lanigan as its new chief information officer (CIO).
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, MDT operates as a credit union service organisation (CUSO), providing the sector with a private cloud alternative for its core processing and IT needs.
Its latest C-suite reshuffle sees Schneider, who has been with the company for over 15 years, transition to CPO from his current standing as vice president of project management and implementations.
In this, the company says he has been tasked to “accelerate the delivery of high-quality service and solutions to ensure credit unions stay competitive in today’s digital landscape”.
“MDT is driving meaningful change within financial services, helping credit unions future proof their businesses and approach to member service,” Schneider comments. “In my new role, I’ll be able to better support this mission by helping shape our strategies.”
Having served as vice president of MDT’s technology operations since 2017, new CIO Lanigan will now take its technology infrastructure, including Microsoft, Technical and AIX, under his remit.
Prior to MDT, Lanigan served as managing director, application development and support for Detroit-based Chemical Bank, and as CIO of ELGA Credit Union.
The reshuffle also sees Tracie Loudermilk, MDT’s former senior manager of project management and consulting services, transition to the role of vice president of project and consulting solutions.
She will be responsible for overseeing the company’s project management consulting services, which were launched last month.
Speaking on the expansion of its executive team, MDT CEO and president, Larry Nichols, says it “directly supports” the company’s belief that digitally optimised solutions, flexible architecture and consultative projects and collaboration will be “key to credit union success moving forward”.
