JP Morgan Payments taps Trulioo for personal and business ID verification
JP Morgan Payments has selected software provider Trulioo to power its personal and business identity verification services.
JP Morgan claims to process more than $9 trillion in payments a day across more than 160 countries and 120 currencies.
Through the partnership, JP Morgan Payments will leverage Trulioo’s person match and identity document verification tech to streamline its payments experience.
Trulioo claims to provide “real-time” access to hundreds of government agencies, public records, data sources and document types, enabling fast and accurate verification of people and businesses globally while reducing the potential for fraud and other financial crimes.
“We chose the platform because of its breadth of personally identifiable data sources, match rates and global footprint,” explains Ryan Schmiedl, managing director – global head of trust and safety for JP Morgan Payments.
“Trulioo has the trusted authentication and verification experience we want to offer clients and additional layers of protection from fraud during the onboarding experience and beyond.”
