Chatham Financial names Sam Graziano as managing director
Chatham Financial, a risk management advisory and technology firm based in Pennsylvania, US, has appointed technology entrepreneur and executive Sam Graziano as its new managing director.
Centred in its financial institutions practice, he will take charge of the firm’s relationships with its banking, credit union, insurance and broker dealer clients.
Graziano will leverage two decades of experience in fintech and financial services, and moves from an enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, Amount, where he was chief commercial officer (CCO) for just over a year.
He joined Amount via the firm’s $175 million acquisition of Linear Financial Technologies in early 2022. Linear, a SaaS and insights platform for small and medium sized business (SMB) lending, was formed a year prior through the combination of the technology arm of Fundation and ODX.
Graziano, who co-founded Fundation in 2011 and had been its chief executive since inception, then became CEO of Linear.
Reflecting on his latest move, Graziano describes Chatham Financial, which was founded in 1991 and serves around 3,500 companies, as “well positioned to innovate in the capital markets”.
