Sailesh Panchal announced as new CTO of TSB Bank
UK high street bank TSB has appointed Sailesh Panchal as its new chief technology officer (CTO).

Confirming his appointment in a recent LinkedIn post, Panchal says he will be tasked with overseeing the bank’s data and payments functions, working with chief information officer (CIO), Cheryl McCuaig.
Panchal highlights TSB’s ongoing commitment to its customers, citing the creation of “a more engineer-focused, high-quality delivery model”, the development of work cultures, processes and technologies, and the prioritisation of operational stability and security.
He also says he will seek to ensure optimum governance and compliance for the bank, with a particular focus on payments, open banking and data governance.

Panchal describes his appointment to TSB as “a full circle moment” given that he previously participated in Project Verde and the 2013 divestiture of Lloyds Banking Group and TSB.
