David Weber named as new COO of Volante Technologies
US-based payments technology provider Volante Technologies has appointed David Weber as its new chief operating officer (COO).

Over the course of his 25-year career, Volante says Weber has cultivated “a wealth of experience” in B2B enterprise software and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), adding that he has dedicated much of his working life to fuelling the growth of various fintech companies.
Most recently, he served as interim chief financial officer at banking tech vendor Mambu between October 2021 and September 2022, and acted as an executive advisor to Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), where he offered strategic guidance to portfolio companies.
In addition to this, his professional experience also extends to various executive positions in operations and finance at investment management solution provider Charles River Development and later for data management platform AxiomSL.
Weber has served as an executive advisor to Volante over the past six months, which he says has enabled him to realise its “compelling value proposition” and “fast-growing blue-chip customer base”, which includes over 150 financial businesses, including seven of the top 10 US banks.
Adding to this, Vijay Oddiraju, Volante Technologies’ CEO, describes Weber’s “deep fintech experience” and “varied executive leadership skill set” as an “ideal fit” for the company as it looks to enter its next phase of growth.
