Convera taps Temenos to modernise payments infrastructure
Convera, a US-based non-bank B2B payments provider, has selected Swiss vendor Temenos to modernise its payments infrastructure.
The company will deploy Temenos’ Payments Hub solution running in the Temenos Cloud to replace its legacy systems and standardise its international commercial payments on a single platform, which Temenos says will allow for “greater efficiencies and an improved customer service”.
Convera hopes to double its payment volumes in the next five years and expand its payment rails.
With Temenos’ cloud-native platform, Convera will be able to leverage new market initiatives such as instant payments and ISO 20022 while also enhancing its straight-through processing rates. The paytech will also utilise Temenos’ data hub capabilities for real-time data management.
“After extensive assessment, we selected Temenos both for its superior cloud technology capabilities and the trust in the team and its local operations,” comments Patrick Gauthier, CEO of Convera.
Founded in 2021, US-based Convera was previously part of Western Union. Its services include currency exchange and hedging solutions, offering access to more than 140 currencies and a financial network spanning 200+ countries and territories. The company serves more than 30,000 customers, ranging from small business owners to large financial institutions.
