Fintech scale-up Yapily appoints Tanya Ziv as COO
Yapily, a UK and European provider of open banking infrastructure platform, has appointed Tanya Ziv as its chief operating officer (COO).
Ziv moves from fellow UK fintech Currencycloud (acquired by Visa in 2021), where she was chief compliance officer for nearly six years. She also previously held senior roles at mobile network provider Lebara and social investment network eToro.
Ziv has over 15 years of experience in risk and compliance in the fintech and payment space, and also M&A law.
Yapily says it “has achieved strong growth” in Q1 2023, and the COO appointment is one of a slew of leadership hires.
Other recent newcomers to the firm are Marc Kuzak, vice president of legal (former Plaid and Barclays UK Ventures); Stefano Paoletti as senior vice president of sales, UK (former Ozone API and Token.io); and Lisa Gutu as vice president of sales, Europe (former COO of Salt Edge).
Founded in 2017, the scale-up provides open banking solutions to Zilch, Pleo, Intuit, and Tide, among others. Last year, it won Banking Technology’s award in the Best Open Banking Solution UK category.
