Low-code AI integration platform AI Squared names Michelle Bonat as new CTO
Low-code AI integration platform AI Squared has named Michelle Bonat as its new chief technology officer (CTO).
Bonat has held a number of leadership roles across engineering, product and data science over her 20-year career.
As CTO at AI Squared, she will be responsible for leading the company’s software engineering, data science, AI research, IT and product management operations. She will also lead the tech team’s ChatGPT launch and accelerate the company’s efforts to commercialise and scale its overall offering.
Bonat joins AI Squared from JP Morgan Chase where she served as CTO and as AI executive of Chase. She took the lead on AI innovation for Chase across 90 products for 60 million active users, helped scale the firm’s data and AI solutions and authored patents in NLP, GraphML and Neural Networks.
She also had a stint at Oracle where she oversaw global engineering and product for financial web applications.
AI Squared CEO Benjamin Harvey says Bonat’s expertise in AI will be “invaluable” to the firm. “Together, we will build a future where AI is not just a buzzword, but a transformative force for good and step change for organisations,” Harvey adds.
