DUNMORE, Pa., May 18, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Fidelity D & D Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: FDBC) (the “Company”), announced that the Board of Directors has approved a plan to purchase, in open market and privately negotiated transactions, up to 3% of its outstanding common stock. In announcing the plan, Daniel J. Santaniello, President & Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity D & D Bancorp, Inc. stated that the Board of Directors believes the opportunity to purchase the Company’s common stock represents an attractive opportunity for the Company and its shareholders. The purchases are expected to be funded by using available excess capital. This plan replaces any and all earlier announced repurchase plans.
