Money Dashboard appoints ex-PayPal CEO as new chair
Personal finance app Money Dashboard has appointed former PayPal CEO Renier Lemmens as its new chairman.
Lemmens has served as a board member at several firms in the financial services industry, including UK unicorn Revolut. He was CEO of PayPal in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) from September 2009 to June 2012.
He says: “Steve and the Money Dashboard team have done a fantastic job at building a product that truly helps people master their money.
“I am delighted to join them on this mission and look forward to helping the company go from strength-to-strength and leverage open banking to help millions of people.”
The Edinburgh-based fintech claims to have more than 500,000 registered users, and helps them connect to their banks via open banking to manage their finances.
Money Dashboard has raised $15.6 million in funding since its 2010 founding, with the last round coming in May 2019 to the tune of $5.8 million.
