Standard Chartered and SAP Ariba partner to serve APAC
Standard Chartered Bank and SAP Ariba have teamed up to offer financial supply chain solutions to the Asia Pacific region, reports Jane Connolly.
With this collaboration, the bank and SAP Ariba intend to speed up the digitisation of the entire supply chain and boost accuracy, transparency and efficiency for all parties.
The SAP Ariba digital platform will give buyers using the Ariba Network the ability to seamlessly manage their payments and supply chain finance requirements by the end of the year.
Suppliers will now be able to use Standard Chartered’s global network to get faster access to financing and foreign exchange.
“Our goal is to make life easier for our clients and their ecosystems, and as their businesses evolve, so do we,” says Lisa Robins, Standard Chartered’s global head of transaction banking.
“We are delighted to collaborate with SAP Ariba to support our clients throughout their procure-to-pay lifecycles and beyond,” adds Robins. “As we embrace open banking, we connect communities across our footprint and provide access to integrated solutions that enable our clients to grow their businesses sustainably.”
The Ariba Network connects buyers and sellers from 4.2 million companies in 190 countries.
