People on the Move: Hervé Pierre, SIMalliance Board
Hervé Pierre, embedded software and products senior director, strategy, at Gemalto, has been reelected as chairman of SIMalliance throughout the 2015-16 term. Over the next 12 months, he will continue to lead the organization, which promotes the role of the secure element in delivering secure mobile applications and services across all devices that can access wireless networks. He will work alongside SIMalliance board colleagues representing Giesecke & Devrient, Morpho, Oberthur Technologies, ST Incard and VALID. Pierre served as SIMalliance’s general secretary from 2006 to 2014.
