People on the Move: Pilar Aurrecoechea, Telefónica Digital (October 2013)
Telefónica Digital has hired Pilar Aurrecoechea as digital financial services director, reporting to Vivek Dev, CEO of digital services. She will lead Telefónica’s global mobile commerce efforts, working with the team to build on the capabilities established over the past few years. Aurrecoechea has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services sector, working for organizations including MasterCard, Visa Europe and American Express. Most recently, she was country manager for Spain and Portugal at MasterCard.
