Asperity Selects Giftango Platform for U.S. Rewards Programs (Dec. 10, 2012)

Asperity Employee Benefits, a U.K.-based employee benefits provider, has chosen Giftango Corp. to manage and fulfill e-gift cards for Asperity’s recently launched rewards program in the United States. The partnership enables Asperity and its Web-based benefits platform to provide customers with a wider selection and instant delivery of e-gift cards through the Portland, Ore.-based digital gift card fulfillment provider’s platform of national brand gift cards.
“Giftango provides access to digital gift cards for more than 150 national brands in the U.S.,” a Giftango spokesperson tells Paybefore. “Giftango partners, like Asperity, select from that national brands list when launching a program.”
Asperity launched its U.S. operations in July, and has a live program with Yahoo!, and additional implementations planned, according to an Asperity spokesperson. Asperity chose Giftango because it “provides us with an enterprise global platform, fast delivery and consistent reporting, which were our key requirements,” said Glenn Elliott, Asperity CEO and founder.
This summer, Giftango expanded its European presence with the launch of Giftango International, a Dublin-based subsidiary focusing on the growing gift card and voucher market in Europe. “As Giftango continues to grow internationally, building relationships with industry-leading partners like Asperity is essential and creates valuable opportunities for the merchants we work with and Asperity,” said Marcell King, Giftango vice president of merchant and international development.
