USAmeriBank goes live on Finastra’s hosted payments hub
USAmeriBank has implemented Finastra’s hosted payments hub for US domestic and international wire transfers.
As reported in April, USAmeriBank announced its payments hub plans – with the software supplier revealed as DH Corporation (D+H). In June, Misys and D+H joined forces to create Finastra, the third largest financial services technology company in the world.
Finastra says the hosted solution offers a reduction of maintenance effort and total cost of ownership, as it maintains the technology and business services.
Kelly Spica, SVP director of deposit operations, USAmeriBank, says with the hub it “will be able to continue to add capacity and additional payment rails, virtually at the flick of a switch, in order to meet market demand and satisfy the needs of our customers”.
The go-live is the first phase of USAmeriBank’s partnership with Finastra. In the coming months, the bank plans to add US automated clearing house (ACH), and eventually real-time payments components, completing its move to a “fully-outsourced payment processing model”.
Feeling fine
Things seem to be going well for Finastra recently.
Jenius digital bank, part of Indonesia’s Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional (BTPN), chose Finastra’s FusionBanking Essence Digital platform.
Oman Arab Bank, a long-standing customer of Finastra, will implement Essence.
In addition, Banco de Mexico, the country’s central bank, is replacing its legacy risk management software with Finastra’s Fusionrisk.
