USAmeriBank in “next generation” payment hub move
USAmeriBank (formerly Aliant Bank), a $3.8 billion bank operating in the US states of Alabama and Florida, is building a new payments hub for its domestic and international wire transfers.
The software supplier is DH Corporation (D+H), the incumbent provider of payments tech to the bank. D+H was originally contracted to automate USAmeriBank’s wire payment processing in 2015.
The vendor says the bank is now upgrading to the “next generation” payments hub.
“The bank is serving as a strategic partner to test and implement the next-generation solution, which will be generally available in 2017,” D+H states.
It describes the new offering as “a multi-tenant, multi-currency, service bureau-hosted global payment services hub, built on an open service oriented architecture [SOA]”.
Cheryl Cultice, assistant vice-president at USAmeriBank, hopes the new solution will bring “enhanced functionality and service, and improved availability”.
