Bank of Baroda launches fellowship programme to support fintech start-ups
Bank of Baroda, a public sector bank in India, has launched a fellowship programme to support fintech, rural, agricultural and financial inclusion start-ups.
The programme will provide selected start-up founders with an opportunity to gain experience in the banking and finanacial services sector and also allow them to make use of the bank’s infrastructure to develop and prototype their own business idea.
Fintech projects that the bank is interested in will ideally be in the digital space, applying artificial intelligence (AI), analytics and blockchain technologies to create solutions for retail and SME clients.
Applications will be accepted until 20th March 2017. For queries, email the bank: [email protected]
Last year, Bank of Baroda called on fintech start-ups to solve the challenge of paying blue-collar workers.
