Isbank launches first mobile stock market app
Turkey’s largest bank Isbank has unveiled its new app, IsCep, to allow “for the first time” banking and stock exchange transactions through one application with real-time data.
The bank says IsCep has been integrated into its Mobil Borsa (mobile stock market) and is also available for all foreign customers in Turkey.
Isbank deputy chief executive Yalcın Sezen says users can “buy and sell stocks and warrants on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, monitor real-time prices and view depth and volume information” and with IsCep Mobil Borsa, customers “have a platform in their pocket that they can easily perform technical analysis and make investment decisions according to the latest market news”.
The bank says monitoring real-time data is free of charge for all IsCep users. Customers who already bought level I+ or level II data packages can also access this information through IsCep Mobil Borsa.
Mobil Borsa is now accessible from the investment menu inside IsCep.
Republic
The bank was established in 1924, a year after the founding of the Republic of Turkey.
Isbank’s European operations span Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria and the Netherlands.
It has become the first bank in Germany focused on retail and corporate banking to opt for Avaloq Banking Suite.
