ASX chooses Metamako for real-time monitoring
Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) has opted for Metamako’s MetaMux for real-time monitoring of its new trading platform and for timestamping and time synchronisation of its internal network traffic.
Dr. Dave Snowdon, founder and CTO of Metamako, says: “This is the first time that a major exchange has publicly acknowledged its use of our products. The ASX win is a very significant development for us.”
Nicholas Rakebrandt, Manager, connectivity development at ASX: “We evaluated a number of solutions, but in the end, the accuracy and performance of Metamako’s devices made them the obvious choice.”
Metamako, an Australian-based network device provider, was founded in 2013 and has customers in the US, Asia and Europe, across high-frequency trading (HFT), automated trading, banking, and independent software vendors (ISV).
