Commerzbank continues card processing contract with Worldline
Commerzbank has extended its existing credit card processing contract with Worldline for a further seven years.
Since 1998 Worldline has provided the bank with an end-to-end processing service that includes complete processing of all the bank’s issued Visa and MasterCard cards. The service provided covers Commerzbank credit cards as well as co-branded cards that are issued together with partners. In addition to technical processing, the contract also provides customer services. In 2009, following Commerzbank’s acquisition of Dresdner Bank the pair completed a large project to combine the two portfolios.
“We continue to put our faith in Worldline because the firm can provide us a reliable, highly secure and cost-effective service,” said Julian Mattes, director of payments and deposits at Commerzbank. “Under our long-term alliance we can join forces and roll out high-tech offers. We are looking forward to pursuing our fruitful partnership.”
