UK regtech Vixio names Christian Erlandson as new board chair
Vixio, a UK-based regulatory intelligence solutions provider, has appointed former Spotlio CEO Christian Erlandson as its new board chair, effective immediately.
Erlandson steps into the role previously held by Gehan Talwatte, who chaired the company for the last two years.
In his new position, Vixio says Erlandson has been tasked with supporting the regtech’s “continued growth” in the payments and gambling space and overseeing “its expansion into the wider financial services industry and into new territories”.
Vixio’s incoming chair currently serves as an advisor to tech company Spotlio, where he was CEO from June 2022 to April 2024, and is also the CEO of TNW, a technology-focused events and media company owned by the Financial Times.
Erlandson has spent over 30 years in the data and analytics sector, holding key leadership roles at companies such as Thomson Reuters, Divido, Monitise, GfK, and others.
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in London, Vixio’s PaymentCompliance platform harnesses AI to streamline regulatory monitoring for businesses, with its ‘Horizon Scanning’ tool providing real-time insights on regulatory developments, deadlines, and trends across more than 140 jurisdictions worldwide.
