Ibanera launches US prepaid card programme with FIS
Digital banking platform Ibanera has launched a new prepaid card programme for both businesses and individual consumers in the US in collaboration with FIS.
The programme enables users to make multi-currency purchases through the global Visa network using both physical and virtual cards.
Cards can be reloaded via Fedwire, ACH Direct Deposit, FedNow, P2C and Visa ReadyLink, while transactions can be monitored and managed in real time through Ibanera’s online portal.
FIS says the offering “empowers users with various solutions, including payroll, travel expenses, government payments, and more”.
The vendor adds that Ibanera can also now offer “tokenized cards compatible with major digital wallets, enabling secure mobile payments”.
Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Miami, Florida, Ibanera provides a range of financial services offerings, including card services, cross-border payments, and DLT payments infrastructure for Web3.
Ibanera previously came together with Visa in September for card issuing and fraud protection solutions, saying that its integration with Visa’s payment network “will enhance accessibility to domestic and cross-border payments for businesses and their customers”.
