Close Brothers Asset Management goes live with Objectway’s portfolio management solution
Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM) has selected Italian software vendor Objectway for its portfolio management solution.
Operating as the front office component of the vendor’s wealth management platform, the open architecture solution comprises portfolio analysis, allocation and rebalancing functions, alongside performance and order management and client reporting.
Objectway says the solution will “enhance the functionalities” available to the £20 billion-asset firm, including “proactive compliance, effective risk management, scalable dealing practices, optimised returns, and consistency in performance reporting for clients”.
The as-a-service deployment will enable CBAM to “tailor and adapt services as client needs evolve”, Objectway adds, culminating in “streamlined operations and robust growth capabilities”.
Incorporated in 1991, CBAM currently offers investment management and financial planning services, including stocks and shares ISAs and retirement solutions, to both private clients and institutions throughout the UK.
According to Gregg Clarke, COO of CBAM, Objectway was selected for its “sophisticated front office capability coupled with its forward-looking innovation roadmap”.
The vendor previously extended its investment management platform to the discretionary business and external advisor network of Canadian wealth manager Kinsted Wealth in April.
