TreasurySpring names Tom Ryan as new global head of partnerships
TreasurySpring, a UK-based fintech, has appointed industry veteran Tom Ryan as its inaugural global head of partnerships.
In the role, Ryan has been tasked with “identifying, establishing and nurturing new and existing strategic partnerships that align with TreasurySpring’s ambitious objectives and enhance the company’s competitive edge”.
These efforts include plans to expand the company’s global presence across the US and European markets.
Additionally, TreasurySpring expects its new exec to collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing and product teams to drive partnership initiatives and align its “broader business strategy”.
Founded in 2016, TreasurySpring provides a fixed-term fund platform that enables corporations, financial institutions and private fund managers to access a wide range of risk-adjusted cash investment options.
Speaking on the firm’s latest addition, Kevin Cook, TreasurySpring’s co-founder and CEO, states: “As we continue to expand our global footprint and commitment to working more closely with channel partners, Tom’s extensive experience and relationships across our ecosystem make him an invaluable addition to our team.”
Before joining TreasurySpring, Ryan was a partner at New York-based VC firm Anthemis Group. Prior to that, he led ventures at modern media company Archer Gray and spent nine years at Barclays, concluding his tenure as global head of electronic futures sales.
