Former Deliveroo executive Adam Miller joins Swedish paytech Trustly as group CFO
Open banking firm Trustly has hired former Deliveroo executive Adam Miller as its new group chief financial officer (CFO).
Miller takes over the role from Jonas Palmquist, who has acted as Trustly’s group CFO since October last year.
Trustly, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, previously acquired open banking payments company Ecospend in 2022 to guide its entry into the UK market, before snapping up account-to-account (A2A) payment fintech SlimPay in neighbouring France a year later for a reported €70 million.
Miller joins Trustly’s executive team alongside Annika Poutiainen and Georg Kaltenbrunner, who were appointed as chief legal officer and group chief risk and compliance officer, respectively, in February.
Trustly’s new group CFO previously held the same position at Deliveroo for over two years, where he oversaw the delivery company’s listing on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in 2021.
Prior to this, he served as chief revenue officer for CarTrawler, and spent seven years holding various leadership roles at Expedia.
