New UK lender Interbridge Mortgages taps Mambu for retail mortgages solution
Interbridge Mortgages, a start-up mortgage lender, has teamed up with core banking tech provider Mambu to support its entry into the UK mortgage market.
Founded last year and headquartered in Cardiff, Interbridge Mortgages is a second charge mortgage lender serving England, Scotland, and Wales, offering homeowner loans from £15,000 to £500,000.
Through its collaboration with Mambu, the company has deployed the vendor’s retail mortgages solution to power the launch of sixteen mortgage variants that include both variable and fixed-rate options, with and without early repayment charges (ERCs).
In a statement announcing the partnership, Mambu says that Interbridge Mortgages was seeking a core banking solution that could “integrate smoothly within its broader Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ecosystem, including its CRM systems and third-party solutions for payment collections and processing”.
The vendor says it was chosen for its low-code/no-code configurability, strong integration capabilities, and “proven track record in the global lending space”.
Mambu claims that the collaboration has enabled Interbridge Mortgages to generate income from “day one”, supporting more than 1,000 customers and distributing over £60 million in loans within its first three months.
Interbridge Mortgages is one of several European lenders to adopt Mambu’s cloud-based banking solutions this year, alongside Amsterdam-based BridgeFund and Spanish microlender Dineo Crédito.
