Video: Highlights from FinTech Futures’ Banking Tech Insights panel and networking event
On Thursday 11 July, FinTech Futures brought together more than 70 senior-level professionals from banks and fintechs for a morning of invaluable networking and knowledge-sharing at our Banking Tech Insights event at 240 Blackfriars.
The day kicked off with an insightful presentation from Dharmesh Mistry and Dave Wallace on demystifying core banking: past, present and future, followed by a roundtable discussion on core banking.
We then had a panel discussion on core banking transformation and how to build a modern and agile core featuring insights from Michael Anyfantakis, Chief Architect and Head of Product, UK, Capital One; Philip Benton, Principal Analyst, Financial Services, Omdia; Steve Britain, CEO, Monument Technology; and Sarat Pediredla, CEO, Hedgehog Lab.
The second roundtable discussion saw plenty of conversation around BaaS and embedded finance and the day concluded with networking and lunch with views across the city of London.
