Sharon Naidoo named new TransUnion CFO for the UK and Europe
TransUnion, a US-based information and insights firm, has appointed Sharon Naidoo as its new regional chief financial officer (CFO) for the UK and Europe.
Moving into the business’s UK arm’s C-Suite, Naidoo will manage the company’s finance and accounting operations for the region.
Naidoo transitions from her previous role as CFO at TransUnion Africa and is expected to apply her expertise across diverse sectors, including banking, chemicals, consumer packaged goods, and pharmaceuticals.
Prior to joining TransUnion in 2021, Naidoo accumulated experience working across Africa, including roles at Rand Merchant Bank, AstraZeneca, and Kellogg’s. She has also served as CFO for KFC in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as CFO at Ricoh South Africa.
Commenting on the news, David Gilbert, SVP and international CFO at TransUnion, states that Naidoo’s “talent for providing accurate and relevant information and insights, along with her significant project management skills, is sure to add great momentum to our growth in the region”.
Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Chicago, US, TransUnion is a leading credit reporting agency operating in more than 30 countries. The company offers credit information and credit scores for both businesses and consumers.
In 2021, TransUnion acquired the Virginia-based identity resolution enterprise Neustar for $3.1 billion.
