Spanish wealthtech Allfunds names two new senior executives
Spanish B2B wealthtech platform Allfunds has appointed two new senior leadership executives in an effort to “pursue initiatives to optimise performance and efficiencies across its global operations”.
Paola Rengifo, a former JP Morgan executive director, has joined the Madrid-based firm as its new head of global operations.
In her new position, Rengifo has been tasked with implementing an “efficient global operational structure”, along with “working towards synergies, innovation, and automation, all aimed at business process reengineering in close partnership with technology”, explains Allfunds.
Rengifo spent over 32 years at JP Morgan, starting as a system analyst and advancing through various leadership roles, including head of operations for Western Europe and head of technology for Iberia.
In addition, the wealthtech has hired Miguel Ángel Treceño as its first chief data officer (CDO), where he will oversee the company’s digital transformation and also “maximise the value of Allfunds’ data-driven culture”.
Prior to joining the Spanish firm, Treceño led a global unit at Citi, directing the bank’s data strategy, architecture and data investment programmes for its lending, wealth banking and custody platform. Additionally, the new CDO has held exec roles at the likes of Credit Suisse and JP Morgan Chase.
Both Rengifo and Treceño will be reporting to Allfunds COO Antonio Varela, who recently joined the company last November from Credit Suisse.
