Corlytics hires new CTO, chief data officer and chief tech architect
Corlytics, a regulatory intelligence and policy compliance tech provider based in Ireland, has unveiled three high-level leadership additions to “drive its precision AI and scaling of its global multidisciplined technology teams”.
The most senior of the appointments is Steve Barnes, who joins as group chief technology officer (CTO) with immediate effect. He has been tasked with “driving advanced technology solutions while maintaining robust security standards”.
Barnes brings over 20 years of experience in technology strategy to the role. Most recently, he was the CTO at AQMetrics and previously held multiple tech leadership positions at Norkom Technologies.
Meanwhile, Dr. Oisin Boydell has been named the firm’s new chief data officer (CDO), who will lead the company’s AI strategy and implementation, commencing in August.
Boydell, who started his career as a software engineer, has spent the past 11 years working at University College Dublin, where he served as the research director of Ireland’s National Centre for Applied AI (CeADAR).
Finally, Ray O’Donnell, who has worked at the Irish firm for the past seven years, is transitioning from head of technology to group chief tech architect. O’Donnell will now, in his new role, be responsible for overseeing “the current and future technical architecture across all group platforms”.
The news of Corlytics’ recent appointments comes after it purchased Deloitte UK’s regtech platform in May.
