Bank of Clarke partners with Greenlight for family money management solution
Bank of Clarke, a community bank based in Virginia, US, has tapped the family banking app Greenlight to help foster “healthy lifelong financial habits”, as stated by the bank’s president and CEO, Brandon Lorey.
Bank of Clarke customers can now register online for a complimentary Greenlight subscription and link their Bank of Clarke account as a funding source. With this move, the company becomes the first community bank in Virginia to connect with Greenlight’s service.
Founded in 2014, Greenlight specialises in family-focused money management solutions. The fintech’s platform enables instant money transfers, chore management, automated allowance payments, and flexible spending controls.
Additionally, Greenlight also provides a debit card and app designed to give children “practical money management experience”.
Established in 1881 and headquartered in Berryville, Bank of Clarke operates 14 full-service branches, two loan production offices, a drive-through facility and a wealth management office.
Speaking on the new collaboration, Matt Wolf, SVP of business development at Greenlight, says: “Community banks like Bank of Clarke are ideally positioned to enhance financial literacy thanks to their strong community ties and exceptional customer care.”
Bank of Clarke joins Greenlight’s recent string of US bank client wins, including U.S. Bank, which became the first financial institution to offer Greenlight via an integrated mobile app experience after partnering with the Atlanta-based firm.
