America First Credit Union taps Loquat for small business onboarding solution
America First Credit Union, the fifth largest credit union in the USA with over 1.4 million members, has partnered with small business banking cloud platform Loquat Inc to enhance its onboarding experience.

The new collaboration will see the Utah-based credit union create a “streamlined digital process” with Loquat’s solution for its small business members, covering digital account opening, payments, reporting and virtual cards.
“We’ve seen significant small business account growth across our membership – and these members want to get up and running quickly,” explains Karey Thomas SVP of branch delivery at America First Credit Union.
“The partnership with Loquat will provide our business members a modern experience tailored to meet the demands of the commercial marketplace”, adds Thomas.
Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Loquat offers a range of services beyond its new business account opening product. These include virtual debit and credit card offerings, as well as payment and lending solutions.
Northern American credit unions have recently made headlines. Just a couple of days ago, Andrews Federal Credit Union selected Blend, a cloud-based digital banking solutions provider, for its deposit account opening solution.
Additionally, Canada’s Vancity announced last week that it had laid off approximately 200 employees as part of an organisational restructuring.
