LSEG names Pascal Boillat as new COO
London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has named seasoned industry figure Pascal Boillat as its new COO, effective 1 July 2024.

Boillat will oversee the group’s global operations division, enhancing services for both LSEG employees and customers. He has also been appointed to the executive committee.
The new COO, who will be based at the firm’s New York office and report directly to CEO David Schwimmer, replaces David Shalders who held the position for over four years.
Schwimmer made a point to thank Shalders for his services to LSEG, crediting him for “driving our integration and transformation programmes, following the acquisition of Refinitv“.
Meanwhile, on Boillat’s appointment, Schwimmer states that he “brings a wealth of experience having held senior leadership roles in operations and technology for global financial services firms”.
