Fintech start-up ZORRZ selects Clowd9 to process payments for new AI-powered BlueAccess credit card
ZORRZ has selected Clowd9 to power payment processing for its new BlueAccess Hybrid Credit Card offering.
The London-based fintech start-up describes its latest endeavour as “a first-of-its-kind collateralised virtual credit card designed to empower groups often excluded from mainstream lending”.
The card is specifically tailored to immigrants, students, those with learning or physical disabilities and “individuals with past credit issues”, offering “a secure path to building or improving credit profiles without the risks of unsecured debt traps and avoiding predatory lending”.
With this, key features of the card include credit check-free access, AI and machine learning-powered buy now, pay later (BNPL) capabilities, and “state-of-the-art AI educational tools and multilingual support”.
Clowd9 will support this remit with its cloud-native, payments processing platform, which was launched in the UK in 2022 and eliminates the need for physical back-end systems hardware with its decentralised model.
Suresh Vaghjiani, CEO at Clowd9, says the platform provides the flexibility and technical capabilities necessary to power the BlueAccess Card”, with its latest partner’s “commitment to inclusive, ethical, and educational finance” aligning “perfectly with our B-Corp certified values”.
A core component of the Clowd9 platform is its microservices architecture, which supports an ability to scale with transactional demand and makes the platform more energy-efficient and resilient compared to legacy architecture.
Marcus Rupp, CEO and founder of ZORRZ, adds that the partnership “enables us to deliver an innovative and inclusive solution that breaks down barriers and empowers underserved communities to achieve financial independence”.
The arrangement builds on the fintech’s current partnership with core banking engine SaaScada, which was also announced this month.
According to the fintech’s website, the offering will be “available soon”, with interested customers encouraged to join a waiting list.
