Encompass Corporation names Andrew Dunn as new VP of engineering
UK regtech Encompass Corporation has appointed Andrew Dunn to VP of engineering to help bring the firm’s “corporate digital identity vision to life”.
In his new position, Dunn is expected to be a “key figure” in guiding the “strategic delivery” of Encompass’ corporate digital identity (CDI) platform.
The new VP, who has also been made a member of Encompass’ executive team, will be based in London and will manage the firm’s engineering teams located in its technical centres in Belgrade, Glasgow and Sydney.
“My varied career journey so far has equipped me with the skills needed to build on strong foundations when it comes to offering best-in-class innovation to customers,” states Dunn.
Dunn’s diverse career includes serving as chief technology officer at Connectt, a social network for brands and influencers; Anachnys, an anti-money laundering specialist; and most recently, OpenCorporates, which claims to be the world’s largest open database of companies.
Commenting on the firm’s new VP, Wayne Johnson, Encompass’ CEO and co-founder, says Dunn’s “extensive knowledge, technical acumen and experience in developing high-performing teams focused on truly standout innovation offers new opportunities as we move forward with our vision for CDI”.
Founded in 2011, Encompass has been busy with acquisitions this year, bagging both CoorpID and Blacksmith KYC from ING in January.
Dunn’s appointment follows a series of recent leadership additions at Encompass. In March, Neil Acworth was named the new chief information security officer, and in April, Stuart Barnard was promoted from VP of finance and business operations to chief financial officer.
