Paymentology hires former Superscript exec Tim Joslyn as new CTO
Paymentology, a London-based issuer-processor, has appointed Tim Joslyn as its new chief technology officer (CTO), succeeding interim CTO James Letley.
In his new position, Paymentology says Joslyn will manage the “development and deployment” of new tech offerings for the firm’s customers and partners.
Joslyn brings over 25 years of experience in the fintech space, building and exiting a number of B2B and B2C companies.
In 2017, he co-founded Pollinate, a start-up specialising in merchant acquiring, where he acted as its CTO. During his tenure, he oversaw its tech and product divisions and spearheaded the development and launch of NatWest Tyl, the bank’s paytech venture.
Prior to joining Paymentology, Joslyn worked at UK-based insurance broker Superscript, serving as the firm’s chief technology and operating officer for nearly a year.
Commenting on the firm’s new appointment, Jeff Parker, who was named CEO at Paymentology at the end of last year, claims that Joslyn’s “reputation as a leading technology specialist precedes him, and his wealth of insight and experience is precisely what we need to accelerate our progress”.
Founded in 2015, Paymentology provides financial institutions with card issuing and processing technology, supporting both physical and virtual card types.
