Sweden’s Mitigram names Pedram Tadayon as new CEO
Swedish digital trade financing platform Mitigram has appointed Pedram Tadayon as its new CEO.
Tadayon has been tasked with “expanding Mitigram’s network of partners to accelerate digital transformation within the trade finance industry”, as well as overseeing product delivery.
The new CEO brings over 25 years of experience in financial services and technology to the role. Before joining Mitigram, he co-founded Visualizy, a paytech based in Sweden.
Additionally, Tadayon boasts a resume which includes various leadership positions at organisations such as Liberis, Nets, Tieto and American Express.
Established in 2014, Mitigram services the trade finance sector with “real-time insights” into capacities, risks and pricing across more than 100 markets.
Commenting on the firm’s latest appointment, Kaj Hed, chairman of Mitigram’s board, asserts that Tadayon’s “leadership skills, customer-first and forward-thinking mindset, and his deep understanding of the trade finance industry will be a valuable asset for Mitigram”.
The appointment arrives amid a series of C-suite additions at Mitigram this year, including Joshua Kroeker, who joined as chief product officer from Contour, and former Swift head Ted Scheiman, who now serves as Mitigram’s new chief strategy officer.
Moreover, Mitigram revealed in June of last year that it had successfully secured $11 million through its latest funding round, bringing its total funds raised to date to $38 million.
