PPRO names Bronwyn Boyle as new chief information security officer
Digital payments infrastructure firm PPRO has appointed industry veteran Bronwyn Boyle as its new chief information security officer (CISO).
In her new position, Boyle will drive PPRO’s security strategy and will be responsible for cyber and tech security across all its product offerings and processes within the firm.
Boyle brings over 20 years of expertise across fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance to her new role.
She has previous experience working at industry heavyweights including IBM, Barclays, and Lloyds Banking Group, and was also previously CISO at Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud core banking vendor Mambu.
Most recently, Boyle spearheaded TSB Bank’s security transformation and AI enablement initiatives for just under a year.
Commenting on the new addition to the firm’s leadership team, Motie Bring, who was promoted to CEO at PPRO last year, states that Boyle’s appointment as CISO is a “testament to our commitment to further strengthen security and combat fraud for our partners and customers”.
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in London, PPRO provides digital payment solutions built to enable businesses to “scale their local payment services through one connection”.
The paytech closed a $93 million “dual tranche” funding round last month as it bids to “pursue growth in key markets”.
